Hi Strainu,

once again good work!

Hi,

Here is a short update and some questions that we have. I know that
some of these have been discussed already, and I apologize for not
going thoroughly enough through the archive, but I can't find the
answers I'm looking for.

First, the updates:
1. The wikilovesmonuments.ro domain has been registered. We would
appreciate if someone could update the link in the European website.

I hope Maarten or Elke wants to do that - I am a bit afraid to break the site.

2. We introduced the lat and lon paratemers to the monument template.
I think there is now no problem for Maarten to grab the data and put
it in the database. I still plan to update the python script, but
right now there are no cordinates, so this is not really a priority.

Now, the questions:
1. Do we know what the prizes will be for the European contest?

We hope to know more soon at least some. If we can find the funding for it - likely it will include a scholarship to Wikimania.

2. Could somebody point me to the image of the Europe-wide T-shirt?
3. Did the WMF provide the upload form? I remember 8/8 as the deadline
mentioned back in may.

8/8 was the deadline for the prototype as I recall - there is currently a prototype, but it needs some improvement. Jeroen is working hard on it and Maarten is in touch with him. Hopefully soon more info.

4. We will accept all free CC licenses, right?

We advise to use CC-BY-SA (if available the local version) - but definitely preselect only one license in the template. If someone manages to upload a picture with a license accepted on Wikimedia Commons with enters it into the contest, we would accept that too.
