Please do use the central bot. Portugese lists were already adapted and added to the bot some time ago. The data is available at the toolserver, more info on how I did it at http://lists.wikimedia.org/pipermail/wikilovesmonuments/2011-January/000011.html. The problem with Portugal is that most monuments are lacking geo information. That would be something you guys can improve.
