Re: [Wiki Loves Monuments] WLM Special Prizes in Austria on the "Day of the Monument"

Hello to all countries participating in WLM! Congratulations to you for the successful start of Wiki Loves Monuments in 2016. In Austria we don't have the opportunity to run a full WLM competition this year, because we already have pictures of 96 percent of the monuments in the cultural heritage of our country. We almost completed the lists of 37.000 protected monuments and many people say, we have reached our goal and should try other things. To maintain the idea of WLM (and our lists of monuments) we have a little photo competition with special prizes around the Austrian "Day of the Monument" in cooperation with the Federal Office for the Monuments. The motto for this year's special prizes is "on the way together". We hope to get photos of protected railroad infrastructure for example the Semmeringbahn, mentioned on the UNESCO World Heritage List, and old buildings on traditional roads. I hope we can join the international WLM-Community again with another one month photo competition next year. Kind regards from Beppo (former WLM coordinator in Austria)
