Wikimedia Spain had written a press release but we have seen the Mexican proposal and a common text (with minor details for each country) in Spanish could be a good idea

no there is no international press release this year. However, if people are interested, we could try to at least gather the necessary information together and countries could share the text they send out as press release (especially looking at the English, Spanish and French speaking countries here)
