Hi everyone,

thanks a lot indeed! I enjoyed all the enthusiasm, and think we reached a lot in this limited time. This weekend was in my experience much more productive than many other Wikimedia meetings I have been involved with, I can only hope you felt the same. However, I do want to encourage you to bring up any open issues we have forgotten (I got some via IM already) in seperate mailing threads so that we can tackle them.

I also would like to thank all organizations who sent people to this meeting. A few chapters I would like to thank a bit extra:
* Wikimedia Switzerland, who was not able to send their own representatives, but did sponsor a representative from Portugal and Spain!
* Wikimedia Poland, who sponsored the representatives from Estonia
* Wikimedia Netherlands, who made it possible that several people from the Netherlands were there to transfer the knowledge
* Wikimedia Deutschland, who both sponsored some representatives, ánd spent quite some staff time and resources to make this event happen in the first place!

Only thanks to all this help we were able to pull of the meeting - lets make September rock, and pay forward that way.

With kind regards,

Lodewijk

Hi everyone,

I just got home from Berlin. I really enjoyed the weekend in Berlin and
I'm looking forward to doing this great European project with all of
you. It's going to be a lot of work, but the result is going to be
spectacular :-D
I hope you all are as excited as I am. Spread the excitement in your
community for example by posting about Wiki Loves Monuments and this
weekend at your local village pump.

Maarten
