A quick update and wrap up on this thread:

Thank you to those of you who did write off-list. It means a lot, and it does make this list and this community feel even more like a community. :)

For context: as some of you may know, we projected to receive between 4-5K photos in WLM-IR and we currently have more than 12K and we have another 1.5 hour ahead of us. While having a lot of photos submitted is amazing, we didn't exactly expect it and having the support to process them in-time and gracefully is really appreciated. I'm looking forward to the next steps.

Hi all,

If you're interested to help WLM-IR with the first round of processing
the photos submitted to prepare a smaller set of photos for the main
jury to start working on, please send me your username. Here is what
you will sign up for if you do it:
* Between Sunday-Wednesday (starting and ending at night UTC), you
will be asked to read a short instruction and vote yes/no on somewhere
between 1000-2000 photos.
* You will use Montage for doing the voting.
* Your votes need to be completed withing 72 hours from the time the
instruction email lands your inbox. Please only sign up if you can
commit to it. :)
* Write a couple of sentences about why you think you are a good
candidate for reviewing the photos. You don't need to be a
professional photographer to help, of course, but we do want people
who join this step to be able to reliably differentiate between a good
photo that should make it to the main jury process, and one that can
be skipped. Past experience with other jury processes is of course a
great plus, and we also ask that you confirm you're not part of any
other country's jury effort if you participate in this one. :)

If you're interested, ping me in the next 24 hours please. ;)

Thanks,
Lily
