Sustainability.*", presents a unique opportunity to amplify your voices and ideas. The conference will take place in Nairobi, Kenya on August 6-9, with a pre-conference on August 5.
We invite you to submit program proposals aligned with the conference theme—highlighting inclusivity, impact, and sustainability in the context of cultural heritage. Proposals can be presented in various formats: ● Remote presentations from the comfort of your home or workplace. ● Pre-recorded sessions to share at the conference. ● Onsite presentations in Nairobi, Kenya.
To help spark ideas, here are a few topics that may align with the conference theme: ● Sustaining Wikimedia Projects Through Cultural Heritage. Exploring how WLM projects can ensure long-term engagement, relevance, and usage. ● Sharing approaches to maintain the vibrancy of Wikimedia initiatives and keep contributions meaningful over time. ● Examining how cultural heritage projects contribute to Wikimedia's global growth and evolution. ● Exploring how WLM projects increase accessibility and representation of diverse cultural narratives. ● Showcasing success stories and measurable contributions from WLM projects to Wikimedia Commons.
