I can officially announce that after the successful 2011 competition, Hungary can participate in the WLM 2013 again. (The contract was signed yesterday and we received it right now, with the list of the monuments.)

It will be a pilot project in partnership with the Hungarian National Asset Management Inc. [1] Therefore, we have only access to the list of monuments, which are directly owned by the Hungarian government. It means about 900 monuments from the ca. 13000 country level monuments. I really hope, that in the case of a successful competition and cooperation, next year we will have access to the full list of monuments.

We have a lot to do before the competition can start in Hungary, and it is quite sure, that we can not start in the time of the international competition. Our governmental partner would like to check everything before we start, and they don't work on the weekend.
