Thanks for doing this. I personally use IRC and am fine with it,
however, I've seen people, even technically savvy people having to
spend half an hour or more figuring out how to connect to it, or how
to work with it once they're on it. The technical bar for entry is
really high, in my opinion, and I appreciate other open source
solutions that can help us reduce it.
