About the pictures before 201107:

Somebody added many pictures to the Swiss category from before the contest: http://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=File:Hugo_Suter-Windowpicture.jpg&diff=58920506&oldid=23004027 for example. What's this? Is the swiss contest for all pictures on commons? That seems weird. Or is this just one person not understanding the Swiss contest rules? Could you please explain, so that we can delete this 200 pictures from the contest.

Bingo thats it, Switzerland had ca. 2500 pictures. so that fits.

before that date it's only like 100-200. We should look for the non-switzerland cats before 1 september.
