I don't think registering on (or logging in) one of Wikimedia sites would need larger effort from jurors than registering (or log in) in the current jury tool.

In our jury most of the judges don't have Wikimedia accounts and there is no expectation of enough technical savviness (sp?) to create one. In any case using Wikimedia accounts means that we would still need to set up restrictions to only allow specific users to judge, so that kind of defeats the point. As it currently stands, we set up all the user accounts for our judges, which expedites the judging process. From my experience having them do any extra work would delay the judging by several days and just make everyone more angry.

Ehm... I don't like the idea, because I can't send an email to "invite" signup in WMF projects if they only want use the Jury Tool.... anyway, a great improve for 2014 :)

Hi:

Sounds great (as geek-developer), but, we have non-editors as jury, How will work oAuth if they don't have WMF account?. A problem to be analized in the future :)
People who don't have a Wikipedia account won't be login in to our tools anyway and if they want to they just go to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:UserLogin/signup
