Hello all,

As we prepare for the 2022 season for Wiki Loves Monuments, I wanted to share that the WLM International Team is looking for a volunteer to help with Communications and say thank you to Elena for all of her work over the last year.

Elena joined the WLM international team in 2021 to help with communications after being an organizer for WLM in Romania for several years, and has done a fantastic job. She has helped expand WLM’s presence on Instagram and social media, and helped with the important annual task of announcing the international winners. She has helped a wider audience learn about WLM around the world. This year, Elena has decided to step back from the international team to focus on the national efforts in Romania. We are deeply grateful for all of her contributions.

Call for volunteers: If you are interested in communications, social media, and Wiki Loves Monuments, there is an opportunity for you to join the international team. We are looking for someone who can help the team over the next year, including both promoting the campaign on various social media platforms, annual competition announcements as well as a planned refresh to the Wiki Loves Monuments blog.
