In our multilingual wikiverse we depend for many things on translations. Many people speak other languages, but still many people can't.

Today I was wondering how well the name of the photo contest Wiki Loves Monuments was translated in Wikidata into various languages. Here an overview: https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/User:Romaine/Wiki_Loves

Still in many languages a translation is missing. If you speak a certain language, please add a translation by clicking on the pen icon. Also Wiki Loves Earth and Wiki Loves Africa labels are listed.

In the large photo contests many translatable templates are used to make Commons as much as possible available in the local language of the users. You understand English, but many people don't. To make it easier to understand and join, we often use templates that have been translated. Many of these templates are only translated for a few languages, which is restricting who can understand a text or not.
