As mentioned before, from the database that is developped, the api can
generate both kml files and dynamickml files, so instead of creating static
files with coordinates, this can be pulled from the database.

You can play a bit with the api via the toolbox:

https://toolserver.org/~erfgoed/toolbox/search.php

Feel free to ask for access to the erfgoed MMP on toolserver, so the tools
live at a central place. (The name still comes from the first year where WLM
was NL only).
