I agree with Tomasz, I think that horinzontal position is better for the most of the photos in the contest.

I am not quite sure if it is good idea to make this calendar in
portrait possition - as vast majority of WLM pictures are rather
landscapes. Anyway cropping will be necessary. Morever the Jury is
about to choose 10 pictures - not 12... so I guess we can add 2
winning pictures from Europeana "Art Noveau" constest to have 12 ?
