I don't think it would be very helpful to transfer them already if

and in wikidata.
Also, I understood Wikidata can't handle all the data types yet that we need.

actually, there are two separate issues.
Wikidata can not handle the list property yet, indeed. My point is that we can actually make the lists without transferring them as lists, but by transferring individual properties and reading them in Wikipedia via lua templates (which is already possible). On Wikipedia, one can then combine the templates into lists, pretty much in the same way it is done now. A great advantage would be a great facilitation of translations (one would only need to translate the names, the data is already there) and of improvement (one picture added would show up in all lists at the same time).
For lists like World Heritage this can be done now, since all entries from the lists are notable and have their Wikidata entries.
For lists like Rijksmonumenten all the entries are notable, but some do not have Wikipedia articles and are unlikely to have them in the future. Thus, they are in principle notable for Wikidata, but some care needs to be exercised since some Wikidata users have tendency to nominate items without Wikipedia/Wikivoyage links for deletion. This can be overcome (for example, individual Commons categories is one way to go), but requires some brainstorming on Wikidata.
Individual Wikipedia/Wikivoyage projects can of course decide for themselves whether they want to use this option or continue for the time being with the "traditional" lists.
Cheers

PS And I believe we would be in a better shape to discuss this when WLM-2014 has been completed in a month and we all have our hands free.
