Subject: Re: [Wiki Loves Monuments] Role of European partnersHi Gonçalo, there are a few ways that partners on a European level help out. Like you mentioned, some partners provide mainly the physical prizes. Several of the partners are however mainly important because of their communication network and their own national partners, like for example the Council of Europe, Europeana and Europa Nostra. Thanks to these partners, we were able to connect many national organizers with relevant organizations in their country. Also important, but harder to communicate, is the goodwill they provide by connecting their name to our contest - that is more intangible, and probably not something you will use in external explanations - but good to realize.I hope that explains the situation clearly enough,Lodewijk

Hi.
We are currently under negotiations with the Portuguese Tourism Board (Turismo de Portugal) to see if they can sponsor the national contest.
They were asking what exactly was the role of the European Partners for Wiki Loves Monuments. I already mentioned that some partners are giving special prizes for some categories of photos or videos, but what else have they put on the table?
Sorry if this has been answered before.
Hope all is well with each of you! Best of luck!
Gonçalo
