Not really, he has only 2 hours available per day. I think he will not beat the record of last year, although I dont remember who was the most active user. Anyway, it is exciting to see how people gets involved, this compensates all organizing efforts.

He is uploading aprox. 1.5 images per minute. That would be
about 64.800 images per month. Does he indeed have that amount
of pictures?

I think he would have uploaded much more faster if his internet
connection was twice as fast as his current one.
