If you are an organizer of Wiki Loves Earth this year, please read on! :)

For the majority of countries participating in this year's WLE, the contest will starts on May, 1st. Here are a few tips the international team would like to share with you:

* Please make sure your team members register for wlemailing list not to miss important announcements.

* Make sure that you go through this todo list, if you already haven't. We recommend that the landing page for each country accessed via the this list be in English (You can link from there to your local language(s) page) or have at least one section in English that can help the international people participate.

* A list of protected areas, and the categories about the protected areas on Commons ar also important things that should be visible

* Consider reaching out to your local media and encourage the coverage of the contest's launch

*Please drop your news or on the contest workflow, or links to your posts so we could share via WLE Facebook and Twitter. You can message them directly to WLE page  

*Use #WLE2017 #WikiLovesEarth in your posts so we could find them

* Add press mentions to a subpage [3]
