I am delighted to share with you that Wikimedia Ukraine has hired a new project manager dedicated specifically to Wiki Loves Earth.
Her name is Iryna Yehiazarova; you can contact her at iryna.yehiazarova@wikimedia.org.ua or https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:IrynaYehiazarova_(WMUA). Iryna is an art historian and researcher. She loves big city life with its museums, parties and exhibitions but confesses that being in nature makes her feel much happier. She is excited about joining our community, exploring the world and raising awareness about nature heritage sites together.
The organizing team is currently onboarding her. Within a couple of weeks, she will become the individual in charge of ensuring that international Wiki Loves Earth 2022 runs smoothly and that the volunteer organizing team provides necessary support to the contest and particularly to local teams.
Shortly, she will provide an update on the contest and the international team's advice on how to deal with coronavirus spread in the contest of Wiki Loves Earth.
