We have an important update to share with you. Taking into account the spread of COVID-19, the International organizing team has decided to extend the WLE 2020 till the end of July. So the overall timeline is:
This way, there is more time to organize your local contests until the situation gets better. 

As always, local teams are free to decide when exactly to hold their contests within the international timeframe, though we advise to hold a contest for no less than two weeks and no more than two months.

Here you can get more information about restrictions for offline public events we have and our advice on how to handle the situation  — w.wiki/KiE. We hope that the world health situation will get better soon. Still, we can encourage our participants to make a positive impact online by uploading photos of natural heritage sites that they already have or improve Wikipedia / other wikiprojects on related topics.
