I’m reaching out to confirm your interest in organizing the *Wiki Loves Africa 2026* campaign in your community and to better understand any challenges you might be facing, so we can see how best to support you.

The rapid grant application process for *Cycle 3* is now open and will close on *1st November*. If you are planning to use rapid funds, I encourage you to apply as soon as possible, since this cycle is the most suitable for supporting Wiki Loves Africa 2026 activities.

The theme for next year’s competition will be *“Rites and Rituals https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Wiki_Loves_Africa_2026/Theme”*, which we believe will create exciting opportunities to showcase the depth and diversity of cultural practices across the continent.

We are really hoping to see your community participate in the campaign next year, and I would be glad to assist you in getting your application submitted smoothly. Please don’t hesitate to let me know if there are specific areas where you need support.
