Hello Wikimedians,
We’re excited to announce that the Call for Wiki Loves Africa 2026 Linguistic Ambassadors https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wiki_In_Africa/Wiki_Loves_Africa/2026_Ambassadorsis now open!
Since 2024, Wiki Loves Africa has been supporting linguistic communities through the Ambassador Programme, helping ensure that communication, training, and participation reach every part of our diverse continent. We’re continuing that support for 2026 and we’re looking for passionate volunteers to join us!
As a Wiki Loves Africa Linguistic Ambassador, you’ll help strengthen the campaign in your language community by supporting translation, outreach, and engagement. Ambassadors will work closely with the international organising team throughout the 2026 campaign to ensure that everyone regardless of language can take part fully.
We are looking for volunteer ambassadors in English, French, Arabic and Portuguese communities.
