Its admins are Isla, Isaac and myself. Anyone can subscribe and will be automatically approved as long as they confirm the email address entered during subscription.

In posting to this list, please remember that every message sent to that list will be publicly visible here : https://lists.wikimedia.org/pipermail/wikilovesafrica/ as well as maybe other places. Do not post anything that you would wish to keep private.

The list is dedicated to hosting discussions and announcements related to Wiki Loves Africa. We ask that you make an effort to stay on topic in your messages.

Also, we ask you to respect guidelines of behavior. Posting to this list or reading the messages from the list should be a good experience to everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, appearance, race, religion, skin color, or preferred free license (and not limited to those aspects). We will not tolerate harassment of list participants.

Participants to this list violating these rules (not staying on topic, or inappropriate behavior) may be put on moderation, or even banned of the list, at the discretion of the list admins.

Last, language... Whilst we expect that most discussions will take place in English, it is perfectly okay to write in other language if you feel that this is the best option (this statement should probably be translated, oh well.)
