Wow, you're a jerk.
The fact that it is April Fool's does not invalidate our policies. Edit
warring to move false information into the main namespace is not
acceptable behavior on Wikipedia. That Mav lifted the block on a
promise not to do it again, and that he did so despite the personal
attack in the promise seems to me reasonable beyond the call of duty.
Your personal attack, on the other hand, seems petty, and beneath
someone I was kind of sorry lost their reelection to the arbcom.
While I can accept that some of you are extremely upset that you don't
get to make mischief on Wikipedia today, it boggles my mind that this
fact is worth making stupid personal attacks against well-meaning
contributors. With all due respect, what the fuck?
Nice way to raise the vulgarity bar :)
I wrote that because it's pretty evident (to me) that SPUI's actions weren't
vandalism. They may not be acceptable, but not vandalism. And people who
block others for "vandalism" are, in my opinion, being abusive.
I think Mav knows me well enough to take my comment in context (i.e., that I
respect him). I called him a jerk--I didn't insult his mother.
I thank my son for bringing to my attention that in Dilbert's world this
is Administrative Professionals Day.
