For large enough values of "uniform," yes. But here in Los Angeles, the
Valley can easily be 10 degrees Celsius hotter than the Basin.
Of course it is also quite possible for one part of LA to be having a
freeway-overpass-dropping earthquake while another is having very stable
weather.
