Does anyone know if this extension is still in the works, going to be implemented, or shelved? Last I herd it was being recoded due to paranoia.

For paranoia, please read "an unwillingness to commit non-optimised code". That doesn't seem like paranoia. That seems like common sense. -- Sam

We don't know how optimal it would have been since we never gave it a test run. Last I heard it was being rewriten in a different way which should be more secure. -- geni
