Well, yeah. That's pretty much the position the WMF has been giving to
the press:
"Since Wikipedia is an encyclopedia with the goal of representing all
topics from a neutral point of view, Wikipedia is not censored for the
benefit of any particular group."
Filtering Wikipedia content is something redistributors can do.
The petitioners want these images not to *exist*.
