A "cite" does not make a fact, and it does not make something worthy
of conclusion.
In this case, assuming my memory is not malfunctioning yet again, I
believe Sam's "cite" was: "a certain percentage of Americans are
Christian, Jewish, or Muslim". Which then became: "the majority of
humans believe in God."
In other words, the cite was no good for what he wanted to claim, and
only served to add America-centrism to his long list of offensive
editing practices.
