In my experience, the more devout the Christian, the more strongly they

Isn't "crucify" a bit too unfortunate choice of words here. We certainly
shouldn't bite, but it doesn't take rocket science to figure out this
username is problematic. All he has to do to continue editing is pick
another one. It's not the user being blocked, just the name.
Of course, if a username RFC or WP:AN discussion says I'm wrong and that I'm
the only one seeing it as problematic, I'd be happy to leave it alone.
