I totally agree with Stan on this. 172 is always using ad hominem attacks on those who disagree with him. Usually in the style of, "I am the only one with the Received Wisdom (TM) on this subject, and you are an ignorant loser who has no worthy input to this subject." But he gets away with it time and time again. RickK

Here is a typical example of 172's ad hominem that really ought to be
out of bounds, and yet quite a few people seem to be OK with it.
