G'day Prasad,
I'm sure Americans get the same treatment in
other countries. I
suggest you drop by Teheran International Airport sometime-maybe you
could carry a U.S flag too. Then get back to me with an account of
what they did to you.
Americans don't get that treatment in Australia, a country that likes to
think her close alliances mean something. I've not experienced Canada,
New Zealand, the UK, Europe, etc., but I imagine it doesn't happen
there, either.
The treatment an Australian tourist receives in Los Angeles is in no way
related to the treatment an American waving the US flag will get in Tehran.

I have to agree with Mark here. When I went to England, it was fairly
pleasant- not so much returning ot America (and I'm as Caucasian and
innocous as it gets), even though everything was in order and I was
part of a group! (Though I got my revenge- I smuggled some English
soil through customs, even though they said not to! Hah!)
