"Posh" seems like a peculiar word in these circumstances. These words
are a part of the language like any other. They can be most effective
when used sparingly. When a person overuses "fuck" as every other word
in a sentence it limits his credibility.
I don't agree with you that it's only in North America where profanities
are so widespread.
