I'm not an expert, but I believe that since we'd still be making the
image available (via the image page, etc.) then we'd have a potential
legal battle later. Check with Brad on that one, though.
There's also the argument that hoarding the images could encourage
laziness; who's going to bother looking for a free replacement* when
there's a photo available right *now*?
* Discount those with their heads screwed on, who understand and
endorse our policies and de facto attitudes towards such things
