If two sides are diamatrically opposed, you cannot create a situation where
they each get something they want.
In that case, you have to create one that
*appears* to be in the middle, and hope the majority of voices go dark.
Those who are quieted will be those who are least noisy. The loudest
shouters will keep shouting until they either get what they want
accept that they never will.
