of precision even though they have been reading English for most of

Rules and policies are meant to be written precisely, Ray. They have
precise meanings.
The fact that stunningly large amounts of people have poor reading
comprehension does not detract from this.
In this case I would have thought the meaning perfectly clear:
"Like any other material which you submit to Wikipedia, unsourced edits
may be removed at the discretion of any editor."
