According to a survey released the other day, "half the atheists and
agnostics surveyed believed that everyone had a soul, that heaven and
hell existed and that there was life after death.
I note the use of the past tense in these statments. Saying that life
after death (or eternal life) once existed but no longer does has some
interesting logical implications. ;-)
