That's fine. The purpose of FA is to note and
encourage a certain standard
of quality, not just to pick front page candndates.
The ratio of FAs has
stayed fairly constant at 1 in 900 to 1000; we would
ideally want it to be
better than that.
Raul has stated that in his opinion (as Featured
Articles Dictator), *any*
article fit to survive VFD could potentially be a
feature; I think this is
an entirely worthy goal.
