This is a project dedicated to the free distribution of information to
the world. It should not be surprising that talk of deleting open
discussions and removing revisions from history causes a significant
portion of the sort of people who would be attracted to such a project
to reflexively reach for their anti-censorship swords.
I happen to be one of them. Without the goodwill of the volunteer
community Wikipedia is a dead project, we should keep every Wikipedia
process as open to them as legally possible.
