Please cite one example of when he has tried? He was banned as Lir for his lack of cooperation. He was banned as Vera Cruz for his lack of cooperation. He was given several opportunities to anounce on this very list that he would change, and refused to do so. He came in as Susan Mason and began making demands that several article titles be changed just because he wanted them changed, just as he had done as Lir, when he demanded that all names of foreigners be written by their names in their native languages, rather than by their names as they're known by English speakers.
That's several chances, and he's blown it every time. Again, how many does he need?

Although I have not spent a lot of time on the "hot" issues, I become
more than a little annoyed with the perpetual obsessive sniping over Lir
and his/her several reincarnations. These often seem founded on the
principle that if you barely suspect that Lir is involved then a
presumption of guilt must apply. There is absolutely no room for Lir to
redeem himself, no matter how much he tries.
