Hello Asaf.
To keep you informed, there is a conversation about your visit in Greece,
in Wikipedia's Agora (Village Pump): http://goo.gl/k9xRo
So, it is not that we are not interested for your visit, but we still talk
if a conference for the general audience should be organised on the
occasion or just do some community meetings.
A question I have: Since you will be in Italy at 18-21 April, you must
extend your trip for some days to be in Greece for at least a weekend. Can
you extend it for enough days to be here at 13-14th or 27-28th of April?
Any community meeting should be on a weekend.
I'm posting this mail to WikiEL mailing list (I think you are already a
member) so that it will be more open, and we can link to your mails.
I suggest that all cc'd users subscribe to it.

[Pardon the cross-posts - and the English message] - Please forward as
well!
Hi everyone,
March is Women's History Month, and this will be the second year for
WikiWomen's History Month, an *international* collaborative event that
takes place offline at edit-a-thons and online through project focuses.
Events and projects focus on improving women's history coverage on any
language project. We have a page on English Wikipedia, like last year,
to gather all of the events:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiWomen%27s_History_Month
So far we have events in South America, Europe and the United States.
I hope you'll consider throwing an event in your town, village, or city
- or do a women's history focus for your WikiProject - large or small!

Σας προωθώ μήνυμα του John Andersson από το Wikimedia Σουηδία, σχετικά με
τον νεό φωτογραφικό διαγωνισμό Wiki Loves Public Art .

Subject: [GLAM] Organize Wiki Loves Public Art in your country!
To: wikimedia-l(a)lists.wikimedia.org, glam(a)lists.wikimedia.org
Hello all!
As you might have already heard, the very first Wiki Loves Public
Art<https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Wiki_Loves_Public_Art_2013>
(WLPA)
photo contest will take place in May 2013. This is a contest that is
inspired by the success of the Wiki Loves Monuments, but as the name
suggests the focus is on public art, either outdoors or in museums (see
more about how museums can be involved
here<http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Wiki_Loves_Public_Art_2013/FAQ#Br…>
). The basic structure of the contest is set up and we are looking for
local Wikimedia chapters to organize the contest in their country, or in a
region, a city or perhaps just in a few museums as a pilot. Thus far teams
are working to organize the contest in Sweden, Austria and Barcelona but
the more the merrier, so if you think that this could be something for your
chapter, please let us know as soon as possible!
To make participation to the photo contest easier, the international
organizing team can help you for example with setting up the lists of
artworks on Wikipedia and to sort through the basic rules of the contest.
In addition, in case you cannot find your own sponsors, we will be able to
provide a prize for the winning picture of your local contest (around
100-150 euros, depending on the number of countries/regions participating).
To find out more see the international WLPA
website<http://wikilovespublicart.org/>as well as the WLPA
page on Wikimedia
Commons<https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Wiki_Loves_Public_Art_2013>.
On the website there is also a neat instruction and all the files
needed<http://wikilovespublicart.org/participate/>to set
up your own version of the website in your language.
You are also more than welcome to email the international
coordinator<john.andersson(a)wikimedia.se> or
the WLPA email list <wikilovespublicart(a)lists.wikimedia.org> for any
questions or comments as well as if you would like to contribute or
participate in the contest!
Please forward this to anyone you think could be interested!
Cheers,
John
