I've posted some thoughts, at:

What do you think? How do we relate that project to WikiData? Or they too different?
Hi Andy,
thanks, we were not aware of that WikiProject.
Would it be sufficient if we allowed to choose, for every item in Wikidata, an identifier scheme or authority (like IMDB, PubChem, ICD11, etc., as per your list) and an external ID, so that the item can be identified within the external scheme? I think that Wikidata will provide the stable identifiers that you seek.
Does that make sense? Is the project active? Do we want to discuss? Will someone be at Wikimania?
Cheers, Denny

Hey Danny,
just like I anticipated -- Wikidata seems to be determined to reinvent not only RDF, but also Linked Data...

We would be not reinventing, but reusing Linked Data principles when we provide links to external authorities using owl:sameAs and similar properties in our RDF export.
We neither reinvent RDF nor Linked Data, and I do not understand on the base of which data you make this inference.
