Hey folks :)
As previously announced we have now added Meta, MediaWiki and Wikispecies to Wikidata. They got phase 1, meaning sitelinks for them can be added. Depending on how this goes we'll enable phase 2 - access to the actual data. I'll let you know when that will happen as usual.
Welcome, sisters!
Cheers Lydia

Very interesting. Does this mean that it is OK to add i.e. https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Lua to https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q207316 ?

Anyone running a bot to integrate Wikispecies pages? They have: * wikitext interlanguage links * Wikidata item templates * page titles that can be matched against the taxon name property
Should be easy to find matches for most pages automatically.

Katie just checked and there are already over 800 sitelinks to Wikispecies. So my guess is there is at least something happening already.

This moved to https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:Bot_requests#Wikispecies_sitelinks :-)
