Hello,
Concerning the use of owl:sameAs, it is used in dbpedia to "link" for instance http://dbpedia.org/page/Joseph_Hocking to its equivalent in Freebase, WikiData and Yago. If we refer to your remark, Markus, this is not an example to follow ?

If the use of owl:sameAs is discouraged, what is its purpose and in which case could it be used ? Does this means that OWL lacks a proper way to interlink ressources from different editors ?

By the way, is the notion of "individuals" an OWL concept ?

Alternative ways to interlink data could also be found on : http://notes.3kbo.com/owl-sameas.
