Indeed: https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Property:P1628 is already used to mark properties ("identifiers") already defined in other ontologies.

Looks like we just need to add this property to more properties. Whether this piece of information is used for presentational purposes seems secondary, or at least I don't see a compelling argument for it yet.
