We have now enabled arbitrary access for Wikimedia Commons. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Village_pump#Wikidata_support:_arbitrary_access_is_here It's taken quite some time but we're finally there. Another major step in supporting Wikimedia Commons is done \o/

If you are involved with the migration of existing templates please take it slowly at the beginning and start with some smaller templates so we can see if there are any problems without too much impact.
