Hello everyone,

I am delighted to inform you that we are organizing an introductory workshop and a week-long datathon to celebrate the 8th birthday of Wikidata in Bangladesh. However, we are expecting participation from all over the world as everything is happening online due to the current situation. Details of the events can be found here: https://w.wiki/hMu.
  1. Workshop (October 29, 7:30-9:30 pm; UTC +6): 'An introduction to Wikidata' workshop will be conducted in Bengali by Mahir Morshed.
  2. Week-long datathon (following the workshop; October 30-November 5): The topic of the datathon is Bengali Films. Participants will get an e-certificate as a token of appreciation from Wikimedia Bangladesh.
