If Magnus meant "double redirect" (i.e. Q1 redirects to Q4, and Q4
redirects to Q13 / Q1=>Q4=>Q13), there is pywikibot/redirect.py [1] to fix
double redirects, but apparently it does not work on Wikibase. (see
T77971[2].)

There are currently ~500 item-to-item links on
WIkidata where the "target
item" is a redirect.
Is there a bot resolving those? Should the merge API do that
automatically?
Or the merge script on site? Or Wikidata itself,
after, say, a day of not
reverting the merge?
I am not aware of a bot doing that yet. But I think there should be.
We could probably do something in Wikibase itself but my gut feeling
is that this is better handled by a bot. I don't think we can fix
these immediately because there are cases where the merge is wrong for
example.
Comments?
