Perusing through phabricator, looks like there was too much effort in discussion of this, than there was with actual experiments!.  That's a shame.

My suggestion is EXPERIMENT MORE..."just do it"... early scientists did not argue to much or even ask for last calls in their laboratories, they got out there in their field and performed experiments to prove things were right or wrong, or slower or faster, etc
And if it did not work well, they changed a variable and tried again.

Do not lose the scientific process.  PLAY first.  Then discuss.
