Dear Wikibase Community,
Do you remember our survey? Here, you indicated that you were not satisfied with the documentation as it currently stands.
We made this part of our annual plan and started by creating and re-writing documents called 'newbie docs'.
Some of them are brief, others more extensive. Four of them are revamped such as the Cloud walkthrough (3 parts) and the Docker install.
Here you’ll find the new and updated documents:
New blurb: on main page https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Wikibase
Zero info: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Wikibase/What_is_Wikibase
Glossary of terms, linkable: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Wikibase/Terms
Which Wikibase to choose: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Wikibase/Which
Docker instructions revamped: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Wikibase/Docker
Cloud, from zero to working, revamped:

https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Wikibase/Wikibase.cloud/Wikibase_settings
Data modeling intro: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Wikibase/Introduction_to_modeling_data
Creating and deleting data (Cradle & QuickStatements & more): https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Wikibase/Creating_and_deleting_data
We would like to invite you to comment, edit, and supplement them if you feel like stuff is missing.
Other than that, you mentioned that you were unhappy with the way some advanced areas
were documented. We would like to learn what you mean by this, as in what areas could be improved or added. You can reach out to me and let me know so that I can coordinate further actions.
We hope these efforts will help to onboard (new) users easier than before to Wikibase so that there are fewer requests on other communication channels, like telegram.
Thanks a lot for your support!
Best,
